The BEST place for fish and chips in Chorlton. We called in Friday night. The fish was cooked perfectly. A even coating of batter and a good size. The chips were crisp and again a good portion. The mushy peas were as they are meant to be MUSHY. First Class Chippy. And the advantage of being able to sit in and eat for a small charge. We'll worth a visit.

We Just visited this great Chorlton chippy, fish,chips mushy peas and 2 cans. Must better than the other chippy further down. Freshly cooked with good service in a clean environment excellent value. To be recommended

So far the best fish & chips in Great Manchester. Cod is so fresh with just right crisp pulp, which matches perfectly with chips fried in raw style. Must visit if you drop by Chorlton.

The haddock fish paste stays intact and doesn’t fall off, I’ve tried many restaurants, but most don’t fry it well. This was a delightful surprise, and I highly recommend it!

Had a great meal at the Royal Cod. Fish cooked perfectly. The owner was very kind, he gave us some extra chips with both curry sauces to see which we preferred for next time. Would definitely go back for a sit in meal again. Thank you!
